Beef Pepper Curry Recipe

  • 2 kg lean stewing steak in 10cm cubes
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 5 teaspoons black pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoon cilantro powder
  • 3 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 3 teaspoon fennel powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 large onions, cut in to small pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 3 fresh red chilies, seeds removed and sliced
  • Some curry leaves
  • 1 strip pandanus leaves
  • 1 stem lemon grass
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 cups thin coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk

Method :

Beat the meat daintily with a hammer and season with salt and pepper. Utilize a dry skillet and meal the cilantro, fennel and cumin independently. Add the cilantro to the meat. Put aside the cumin and fennel. Include the flavors into the meat in a pot with the various fixings aside from broiled cumin and fennel, ghee and the thick coconut milk. Bring gradually to the bubble, decrease warmth and stew with a top, until the meat is delicate. Include some water if the sauce thickens excessively quick. Expel the sauce into another dish leaving the meat in the container. Include the ghee and let the meat fry in it for a couple of moments. Include the simmered cumin and fennel to the thick coconut milk. Blend into the cooked sauce, before pouring everything to the container with the meat. Keep on stewing revealed over a low warmth until the sauce is thick. Serve hot with steamed white rice and different backups.
